SKAGIT COUNTY DEATH CERTIFICATES

. The following records have been extracted from Washington State Death Certificates. Certificate #1 is for a young boy who died 29 Jul 1907. The last Certificate for 1907 is #57. 1908 has 198 Certificates. It is important to check at the county level for death certificates prior to 1907.

. Using Cemetery records it is now obvious that people died and were buried in 1907, 1908 and 1909 without a death certificate.

. This project started September 1998 by Darilee Bednar. (Final part of 1908 placed online 9 Mar 1999) The material has been proof read once and hopefully contains no typist errors. Some of the writing was difficult to read and often the cause of death spelling seems..."by guess or by golly". There can be additonal information available on the death certificate. I have made editorial comments and they are enclosed in (-). Again, I remind you that the writing, spelling, and microfilming has made this extraction difficult. Mistakes have been made.
